Teresa Rose
Some of the best days of my life have been the simplest ones.
Not because they were extravagant or perfectly planned, but because they were spent with the people I love. Looking back, the moments I remember most weren’t expensive vacations or big celebrations. They were homemade dinners, afternoons with my grandparents, walks with family, movie dates with my nephew, and the little traditions that somehow became the memories I treasure most.
That feeling is what inspired Teresa Rose.
Teresa and Rose were my two grandmothers, and they had a way of making ordinary days feel special. Looking back, they probably had no idea they were teaching me how I wanted my own life to feel one day. This little corner of the internet is my way of holding onto those lessons and, hopefully, inspiring someone else to create more of those moments in their own life.

Teresa and Rose—the inspiration behind everything you’ll find here.
As I’ve gotten older, I’ve realized something.
Some of the things we spend the most time chasing aren’t always the things that stay with us. The memories I hold onto most aren’t the expensive ones. They’re the conversations around the dinner table, recipes that have been passed down through generations, afternoons spent in the garden, homes that simply felt warm and welcoming, and the people who made those ordinary days unforgettable.
That’s what you’ll find here.
Not because I have life figured out, but because I’m still learning too.
Some weeks I’m meal prepping and crossing everything off my to-do list. Other weeks I’m ordering takeout, leaving laundry in the dryer a little too long, and wondering where the day went. Some days I’m full of motivation. Other days I need the reminder to slow my thoughts and appreciate what’s right in front of me.
Teresa Rose isn’t about having the perfect home, making every meal from scratch, or pretending life always looks beautiful.
It’s about creating a life that feels beautiful.
To me, that means making time for family and friends. Cooking a meal instead of always taking the easy way out. Inviting someone over for coffee. Planting flowers. Tackling a simple project around the house. Trying a new recipe. Taking care of yourself with kindness. Or simply slowing your thoughts long enough to appreciate the day you’re in.
Life isn’t perfect, and honestly, I don’t think it’s supposed to be.
This space is honest, imperfect, and full of heart—just like life.
If you leave here feeling inspired to make a favorite family recipe, invite someone over for coffee, start that little project you’ve been putting off, spend more time outside, or simply appreciate an ordinary day a little more, then Teresa Rose has done exactly what I hoped it would.
I hope Teresa Rose inspires you to create a few more of those simple days you’ll remember years from now.
Welcome.

Inspired by Teresa, who taught me how to be bold, how to care deeply, and how to create a home where people feel seen and safe.
And Rose, who showed me what it means to live a life on your own terms- independent, strong, and full of spirit.
Teresa Rose is my way of carrying both of them forward.
