Hi, I’m Kate
I’m a licensed Esthetician of over 20 years, but outside of the treatment room I’ve always had a lot of other things I’m interested in — traveling, finding new places, decorating my home, cooking, antiques and vintage finds, photography and whatever project I happen to be working on at the moment.
For years, so many of these things have made their way into conversations with my clients. I’d come back from a trip and get texts asking where we stayed or what we did. I’d mention a recipe and someone would ask me to send it to them. I’d find something for my house and get asked where I bought it.
Eventually I realized I wanted one place where I could collect all of it.
That’s really how KateRenda.com came about.
Here I share the places I visit, recipes I actually make, things I’m doing around my house, products I genuinely use and recommend, vintage and antique finds, skincare knowledge I’ve picked up over more than two decades in the industry, and probably plenty of other things I discover along the way.
I especially love a good day trip or weekend away. I spend a lot of time exploring New England and love finding the places you might otherwise drive right past — little shops, beautiful towns, good food, historic places and things that make a trip worth taking. Some of my favorite days are simply getting in the car with people I love and seeing where the day takes us.
Travel farther from home is becoming a bigger part of what I share too. I love planning a trip almost as much as taking one, and when I find something worth knowing about, I want to pass it along.
I’m also the creator of Teresa Rose, a collection named after my grandmothers, Teresa and Rose. It’s where my love of recipes, traditions, vintage pieces, antiques and things worth keeping comes together.
I’m not here because I have everything figured out or because my life looks perfect. I’m here because I genuinely love sharing the things I find, the places I go and the ideas that make everyday life a little more interesting.
