Hi, I’m Kate — a Licensed Esthetician of over 20 years, vintage curator, and the founder of Teresa Rose. What began as a passion for helping people feel beautiful in their skin has grown into something more: a way of helping others create lives that feel comforting, creative, and true to who they are.
Over the past few years, I’ve also found myself behind the camera, using photography as a way to slow down, notice the beauty in everyday moments, and hold on to what truly matters. Teresa Rose is a reflection of it all — rooted in meaning, filled with inspiration, and always evolving.
Through my blog, I share the things that inspire me day to day.
My work now blends:
- Skincare & wellness: A calm, realistic approach—nourish, protect, simplify.
- Vintage & curation: Giving well-made, storied pieces a second life.
- Creative making: Small handmade items, refinished furniture, seasonal projects.
- Photography: Slowing down long enough to notice light, texture, and quiet moments.
- Faith & grounding practices: Prayer, reflection, walking outside, & being present.
I’m not interested in perfection, performance, or whatever the internet says life “should” look like. I care about intentional choices and building a life that matches your own values—not trends, algorithms, or pressure.
What I Believe
- Small daily rituals change more than drastic “overhauls.”
- A lived-in, meaningful home beats a staged one.
- Beauty should calm you—not make you feel “behind.”
- Nostalgia can reconnect you to what actually matters now.
- You’re allowed to edit your life—to keep what serves you and release what doesn’t.
How That Shows Up Here
- In-depth blog posts on skincare that respect sensitive, reactive skin (no 15-step routines).
- Practical wellness habits: sleep rhythm support, gentle movement, nervous system calming.
- Vintage finds and styling ideas rooted in story and function.
- DIY and slow creative projects that feel achievable, not overwhelming.
- Personal reflections on faith, simplicity, and finding meaning in ordinary days.
If you’re drawn to authentic living, calm progress, and building a life that feels like yours, you’re in the right place.
I spend a lot of time traveling all over New England, sourcing vintage and antique pieces from auctions, estate sales, and tucked-away shops in charming little towns. Along the way, I’ve built relationships with other vintage curators and small businesses — many of which create beautiful handmade items right here in the USA that I’m proud to carry. My dad often joins me on these adventures, and I’ll be sharing glimpses of our journeys in the blog — the scenic drives, the hidden gems we discover, and of course, the lobster rolls we enjoy along the way.
I’m in a season of quietly building—refining offerings, shaping the brand, and making space for new projects that align with this slower, more rooted approach. You’re early here, and I’m glad you are.
Let’s make space for what feels real.
Thank you for being here, for reading with an open heart, and for following along as I begin this new chapter. I’d truly love to hear your thoughts so far — feel free to share them below.
